'Tis the season for the tired, the grinches, and the scowls!

Campbell River doesn't know how lucky they are to have such a dedicated art community as we do.  The lack of appreciation of handmade things was uncanning last Sunday at the Pier Street Market located here at the Heritage Centre.  Support your locals, buying handmade seems to be a distant thought to some of the people I ran into.  I was excited to hear today that we as a community filled the big truck of food for the shelters, which proves that spirit does exist in this town!
Tide Line recently visited the north island, and the town banned together to support each other.  The south end of the island appreciated the handmade, making special trips up to Campbell River seeking out more, wanting to know the process, and have a peak of whats to come for the summer season.
We are a community.  A community made up of many people, culture and things to offer.  Why not celebrate each other? Support one another.  And smile for gosh sakes!

So thank you to those who support their neighbor, are proud of the town they live in, and can see the glass as half full rather than half empty.
